Sausage Hamburger Supreme

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bass Farm Sausage (Hot)
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage in a pan and drain.
  2. Cook hamburger in a separate pan and drain.
  3. Add the two meats and brown together.
  4. Add Velveeta cheese.
  5. Serve just like a hamburger on buns or rolls.

Bass Farm Sausage Meal In A Dish

Cook Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bass Farm Sausage
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium white potato, chopped
  • 1 pint cottage cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheese

Instructions

  1. Saute onion until soft, add sausage and brown lightly.
  2. Cook potato in water until tender. Drain.
  3. Place onion and potato in casserole dish covering the bottom of dish.
  4. Put sausage patties in, cover with cottage cheese.
  5. Pour soup over this and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered in 325 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
  7. Serve hot. Good with toasted bread and a light dessert. Serves 4 to 6.

Sausage and Sweet Potato Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bass Farm Sausage (Mild)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 4 cups hot mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 Pinch each of thyme and cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Break sausage into small pieces and cook until lightly browned.
  3. Remove sausage from pan and set aside.
  4. Cook onion and celery in sausage grease until onion is transparent.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients to onion and celery mixture. Mix well and then add to sausage. Pour into a 2-quart casserole.
  6. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
  7. Take cover off for last 30 minutes of baking time. The dressing should be very moist.

Bridge Night Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of Bass Farm Sausage links
  • 3 cups cooked noodles
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/5 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Bake sausage in shallow pan for 25 minutes at 400 degrees. Turn sausage once.
  2. Place layers of noodles in casserole.
  3. Dribble 4 tablespoons sausage drippings over top.
  4. Add applesauce, lemon juice and spices, then another layer of noodles.
  5. Place sausage on top and sprinkle grated cheese over all.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Bass Farm Sausage Balls – Holiday Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bass Farm Sausage (Hot)
  • 3 cups Bisquick mix
  • 10 ounces shredded sharp cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients with hands.
  2. Shape loosely into small balls
  3. Bake at 325- 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Yield 100 cocktail balls. These freeze well. Do not cook before freezing.

Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bass Farm Sausage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 medium sized tart apples sliced or chopped
  • -- salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons sage (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Saute onions, celery, sausage, but do not brown.
  2. Pour off excess fat. Add rice and seasonings.
  3. Spread a layer of the sausage mixture in casserole dish.
  4. Cover with a layer of chopped or sliced apples. Repeat by adding another layer of sausage mixture, covered with a layer of apples.
  5. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until apples are soft.
